Instilled with the dreams of its owners, Celestial Hill is a boutique vineyard in Oregon’s renowned Willamette Valley, where Chris and Melissa Thomas hand-cultivate pinot noir and chardonnay grapes to produce small-batch wines in the Burgundian style. They maintain a close connection to the earth, making their home on the 52-acre property and committing themselves fully to giving the grapes and vines the attention they deserve.

A Truly Special Place
Celestial Hill is one of the westernmost vineyards in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range in the Willamette Valley, where vineyards enjoy the hot, dry summers favored by pinot noir and chardonnay grapes. But it’s Celestial Hill’s proximity to the Pacific Ocean that’s responsible for the cool evening breezes that allow the grapes to remain on the vine longer. Four distinct vineyards spread across 12 acres produce purposefully low yields, marrying volcanic and oceanic sedimentary soil with subtle elevation changes to create exceptional terroir-based wines with a true sense of place.

Wynne Peterson-Nedry and Alisa Le
Wynne Peterson-Nedry was raised in Willamette Valley wine country, on the famed Ridgecrest Vineyard in Ribbon Ridge, helping her father make wines from an early age. Wine making is literally in Wynne’s genes! Her repertoire includes a world-class education with a master’s degree in oenology from UC Davis, and global experience in New Zealand, France and California. Wynne has received some of the highest accolades and wine scores in the region.
When you consider Wynne’s extroardinary background, world-class education, global experience and passion, there is no wonder why she is considered one of the best young winemakers in Willamette Valley and beyond!
Alisa Le found wine through her love of food! After studying at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute, she managed top restaurants like McCormick and Schmick’s, where interest in wine sparked. That spark developed into a love and Alisa jumped into the wine industry with both feet! Her experience ranges from New Zealand to most recently Oregon’s Authentique Wines. With Alisa’s high energy and positivity she has quickly made a name for herself in Willamette Valley.
Wynne and Alisa share the Burgundian spirit that thrives here at Celestial Hill. Their combined unique experiences, passion for wine, love of vineyard work and positive energy are helping Celestial Hill create compelling wines that you can enjoy now and cellar for many years.

Lita Consoli
Born and raised in South Dakota, Lita has been a happy PNW transplant for nearly 15 years! The lush natural beauty, proximity to the forest and the sea and stellar wines are a few of the reasons she calls the Willamette Valley home!
Lita has had the pleasure of working in both Walla Walla and Willamette Valley wine country, loving all of the various bottles of wine in between. Her favorite wines are acid-driven rosés, still and sparkling chardonnays and grenache or grenache blends!
Lita loves being a part of the wine world because it embodies hard work, dedication and community from beginning to end.
She views the product of the wine industry as beauty in a bottle, every bottle has the potential to create an environment for lasting memories! The hospitality facet of the industry is where she thrives, where she loves to meet people and welcome any newcomers to the table!
When she's not in the tasting room, Lita enjoys spending time outdoors, or in the kitchen, traveling and trying new wines with her partner, and being with her friends and family as much as possible. Most of her out of office activities will always include her beloved Italian Greyhound, Dali. Her lively 16 year old pup inspires her to stay grateful, see the light in life, and that there is always time for the good things!
